Being Accountable For Creating Income Streams
This week, the ‘progress’ report will be quite short. I’ve been quite ill, which I feel like I write somewhere in each weekly post, but this past week, I’ve shut the computer off early and just prioritised my health over writing and money making.
There have been other things too…like on Monday we got new carpet on the stairs, so that was a while stuck downstairs and not on my computer upstairs. Not a completely wasted afternoon as I managed to get quite a bit of a crochet blanket done!
And there was another hospital appointment too, and giving people lifts to places, so it hasn't just been a week of working solidly is what I’m getting at.
If I’m being perfectly honest, I spent the weekend knitting and not writing a single word. I hesitate to use the word burnout because I’m not a full-time writer or anything like that. I think the fact that I haven’t written or done much the past week or two is that I’m feeling a little bit fed up with everything and having trouble getting motivated about doing stuff.
So, I spent the day yesterday tidying up, vacuuming everywhere, even behind and under my bed. I did recycling and sorted papers and made lots of lists. I went as far as to put my craft projects in new bags and tidied craft drawers. I got a bit more organised and have a plan for the weekend and what to work on on Monday.
That being said, there were a few wins this week…
I made a Substack! Hooray! It’s been on my list of things to do for a while, and I finally bit the bullet and created one.
You can find it here if you’re interested. I’m still getting the hang of the platform and there’s only one post so far, but we all have to start somewhere don't we?!
There’s a lot of work to do on that one, but it’s at least created!
I haven’t done a lot actually. In fact, I’ve hardly published any blog posts or anything here on Medium. I just haven’t felt like writing.
